River Region Riders Association Presents

Trash Panda Red Dirt Ramble

Saturday October 10th, 2020
Avoid the March 1st price increase, Register Now!!

The River Region Riders Cycling Association welcomes all gravel riders to the Trash Panda Red Dirt Ramble on Saturday, October 10, 2020. As cyclists transition from road to gravel for the fall season, this premier event offers an early solid test of gravel riding abilities that won't disappoint the experienced or novice rider. With three distances to choose from (27, 48, 68) and aptly supported with rest stops and roving SAGs, riders will be challenged by varied unpaved terrain and plenty of climbs and descents located in Autauga County, Alabama.
Last year's ride was a huge success with over 70 grinders participating. The feedback was very positive and we are working to improve the experience even more (i.e., race option, t-shirts, etc.).

Proceeds from the ride will once again benefit the Prattville Autuaga Humane Shelter and cycling advocacy.

We are pleased once again that Hammer Nutrition will be a sponsor!

Registration IS OPEN!!

Routes to be revised but will include a race option for the 70 mile route!  Prizes awarded for top 3 finishers male/female.

Prattville Autauga Humane Shelter

Our Organization
While the Prattville/Autauga Humane Society shelter staff may be small in size, it has a big heart for the animals.  The staff works daily to meet the animal’s needs such as cleaning, feeding, watering, exercising and socialization. The staff is works to help reunite lost pets to their rightful owners, to find “forever homes” for adoptable animals and meet the daily needs of the animals in their care. They hold a paw in their hand every day.
Our Mission
To provide a safe, caring environment for every animal that enters our facility while reuniting lost pets with their caring, rightful owners and finding loving forever homes for as many as possible and to stand up for those who can’t speak for themselves to stop neglect, abuse, and cruelty and prevent future incidents through education and perseverance. Check out our 5 Year Strategic Plan for a glimpse of our vision for the future of PAHS.

We invite you to visit our facility located at 1009 Reuben Road in Prattville. Our shelter is open to the public from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Our shelter is closed to the public on Sunday.
